Bladder Health

A whole‑body, supportive approach to bladder leakage, urgency, frequency, and incomplete emptying.

Bladder symptoms are incredibly common, but they’re not something you have to “just live with.” Whether you’re experiencing leakage, urgency, frequency, or difficulty fully emptying your bladder, pelvic floor therapy can help you understand what’s happening and create meaningful, long‑lasting change. I offer one‑on‑one, whole‑body care in a private, calm environment designed specifically for women.

Common Bladder Symptoms I Treat

  • Leakage with coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercise

  • Sudden urgency or “key‑in‑the‑door” urges

  • Frequent trips to the bathroom

  • Feeling like you can’t fully empty your bladder

  • Overactive bladder

  • Postpartum bladder changes

  • Bladder symptoms related to perimenopause or menopause

  • Bladder heaviness or pressure associated with prolapse

Why Bladder Symptoms Happen

Bladder issues often develop when the pelvic floor, core, hips, and bladder are not working together the way they should. Factors like pregnancy, childbirth, hormonal changes, posture, movement patterns, stress, and even daily habits can influence how your bladder behaves. Sometimes the pelvic floor is too weak — and sometimes it’s too tight or overactive. A whole‑body assessment helps us understand the root cause so we can treat the true source of your symptoms.

How Pelvic Floor Therapy Helps

Pelvic floor therapy supports bladder health by improving coordination, strength, relaxation, and awareness of the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles. We’ll work on:

  • Pelvic floor muscle coordination

  • Core and hip strength

  • Breathing mechanics

  • Posture and movement patterns

  • Bladder habits and lifestyle factors

  • Nervous system calming strategies

  • Gentle manual therapy when needed

You’ll learn how your bladder works, why your symptoms are happening, and what you can do to feel more confident and in control.

What to Expect in Your Sessions

Your sessions are always one‑on‑one in a private, supportive environment. We begin with a whole‑body assessment, discuss your goals, and create a plan tailored to your stage of life — whether postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, or beyond. You’ll receive clear education, gentle guidance, and practical strategies you can use right away.
